additional storms through wed; then dry and nice

An upper level disturbance tracking through the Mid Atlantic has allowed scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop over the area late this Tuesday afternoon. These will clear the region by mid evening.
With the upper level disturbance remaining in place on Wednesday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again in the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will top out around 80° with some sunshine.
With a cold front passing through Wednesday night, a refreshing airmass will overspread the area on Thursday. It will be breezy with northwest winds at 15-25 mph. These winds coming down from the Great Lakes will allow for relatively low humidity. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s with sunshine. Friday will feature similar conditions with the humidity dipping even further. Overnight lows will drop into the mid 50s.
With a high pressure system in control, the nice weather will continue into Saturday. Temperatures will reach 80° with sunny skies for at least the first part of the day. There is some question as to the timing of our next storm system, but chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms may return on Sunday.
