calm weather heading into christmas

12/20/2023

Generally calm weather will continue across the area for the rest of this week and through Christmas. Dry conditions are expected through the day on Saturday. Temperatures will top out in the mid 40s Thursday and Friday, with upper 40s for Saturday. Skies will be sunny for much of the day on Thursday, although it does look like we will have more clouds late in the day and continuing through the end of the week.

For Saturday night into Christmas Eve, a weak system may bring a few light showers. Unlike the past couple storms, I do not expect significant impacts with this one. Temperatures will reach close to 50°. Christmas Day is shaping up to be mild and dry. Temperatures look to start off in the 30s, with afternoon highs in the low 50s. Right now it looks like there will be a mix of sun and clouds.
The next storm may come Monday night or on Tuesday.
