A cooler marine airmass has settled into the area this Friday, with a wind flow coming off the Atlantic. There will be a slight chance for a shower late this afternoon into the evening, with the best chance north of DC. High temperatures will be around 60°.
A passing shower is possible early Saturday morning, with any rain likely clearing out by around sunrise or just after. Sunshine is expected later in the day as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 60s. There will be a noticeable northwest breeze around 15 mph for much of the day.
For Sunday, morning lows will be in the lower 40s. Highs will be in the lower 60s with a good deal of clouds around during the day as a storm system passes by to the south. Sunshine is expected for Monday with temperatures reaching the mid 60s. The next chance of rain for our area may come late Tuesday into Wednesday.
