damp weather for much of this week

12/26/2023

While we had abundant sunshine for Christmas in the DC area, a slow-moving storm system has brought clouds and rain for this Tuesday. We are not going to see much change for the next couple days.
For the rest of today, expect a few additional showers this morning into the afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the upper 40s.
A band of steadier rain is expected to move in Wednesday morning, with rain continuing for much of the day. Temperatures will top out in the low 50s. While Thursday is looking dry, there may still be a good deal of clouds around. Mild temperatures will continue with highs in the mid 50s.
There will be another chance for rain on Friday. The New Years weekend may start off a bit damp, but it does look like we will be dry later in the weekend.
