drier conditions for the weekend

2/23/2024

As of mid Friday afternoon, the storm system passing through the area this Friday has cleared much of the metro area. Some rain is continuing for Southern MD.
Overnight lows will be in the upper 30s. With a northerly wind flow in place, temperatures on Saturday will only rise to the low to mid 40s. There may be a brief shower around in the morning, but otherwise expect dry conditions with some peeks of sun.
Sunday is still shaping up to be a relatively pleasant day for late February. While it will be cold in the morning with lows in the mid 20s, afternoon highs will be in the mid 40s with sunshine.
A warming trend will begin on Monday! Temperatures will top out around 60° with a mix of sun and clouds. A stronger push of southerly winds on Tuesday will keep mild temperatures around, with highs in the lower 60s. There will be a chance for rain on Tuesday as a strong storm system approaches from the west. Rain chances will continue for Wednesday.
