gradually turning warmer next week

While we have a frigid airmass in place this weekend, relief is gradually coming next week! Although the morning will still be quite cold, temperatures will climb above freezing for much of the area Monday afternoon. Most locations will be into the 40s on Wednesday. As warmer air is drawn into the region, however, a series of storm systems will start to move in by midweek. It does appear as though we may have a prolonged stretch of rain.
