seasonable temperatures through easter

3/29/2024

Temperatures on this Good Friday are heading up into the mid to upper 50s. As the storm that brought the rain on Thursday intensifies well off the coast, it will become particularly windy this afternoon.
A passing shower is possible Saturday afternoon or evening as a weak disturbance tracks through. Otherwise, expect some sunshine. Morning lows will be in the upper 30s with temperatures topping out around 60° in the afternoon. A steady southerly breeze around 15 mph will develop during the day.
Easter Sunday will start off with mild temperatures for the end of March. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s at sunrise, and highs will be in the mid 60s. There is the possibility for a couple showers in the afternoon or evening as another system moves through, but I do not expect a washout. It does look like there will be some peeks of sunshine.
April will start off on a general cloudy and damp note. Rain appears likely Sunday night, with a chance for a few showers continuing on Monday as disturbances track along a frontal boundary. A stronger storm may impact the area Tuesday into Wednesday. High temperatures will generally remain in the 60s.
Looking further ahead, it now looks like we will have to wait until at least the second week of April before we see multiple consecutive days with drier conditions and 70° temperatures.
