sun & clouds with low rain chances at times

9/20/2024

Temperatures this Friday are on their way to reaching the mid 80s again with plenty of sunshine. As has been the case for the past 7 days, an onshore wind flow remains in place. This is leading to tidal flooding during times of high tide along the Potomac and Chesapeake. Tidal flooding will remain an issue through the weekend, with the highest impact for Annapolis. The National Weather Service has Coastal Flood Advisories in effect, with a Coastal Flood Watch for Annapolis where moderate flooding is possible.
Much of Saturday will be a generally pleasant day weather-wise across the area. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the evening, however.
We may still have a few showers around on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s. Plenty of cloud coverage may linger well into next week with slight rain chances. Much of Monday and Tuesday look dry though.
