turning cooler for the weekend

11/17/2023

Temperatures this Friday reached close to 70° across the area. It will be a while before we see this warmth again, however. A cold front will cross the region tonight. A few showers are possible, with the best chance north of DC.

Skies will clear during the day on Saturday. It will turn out to be windy with northwest winds gusting to 30 mph. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s. Winds will diminish Saturday night as temperatures fall into the 30s. High temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 50s again with sunshine and a steady breeze.

Monday will be cooler with increasing clouds. Highs will be around 50°. A storm system will move into the region on Tuesday, likely bringing rain and breezy conditions. We will dry out by Thanksgiving Day, although it will be on the chilly side.
