winter temperatures to be replaced by milder air

12/7/2024

Plenty of sunshine and a dry airmass in place are helping temperatures to head up to the lower 40s this Saturday.
Warmer air will overspread the area on Sunday. Following morning lows in the lower 30s, temperatures will rebound to the lower 50s in the afternoon.
A storm system from the west will move in on Monday, likely bringing rain for a portion of the morning and afternoon. Temperatures will be in the 40s throughout the day.
Southerly winds will allow temperatures to climb well into the 50s on Tuesday. There may be a shower around during the day. A strong storm system looks to impact the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. A soaking rain is possible, which would be beneficial given that we are still in a Severe Drought. This system may also bring strong winds.
