MON: Very warm and increasingly humid with isolated showers and storms possible. The best chance for storms will be west of I-81. High temps will range from the upper 80s to low 90s. Winds will be from the south at around 5-10mph with gusts up to 15mph. The chance of rain is only 30%  with a mix of sun and clouds expected. Overnight lows will drop into the low-mid 70s.

TUE: Still warm, and now very humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms will produce heavy rainfall in isolated locations. Most areas see 0.25"-0.50" of rain, but a few locations could see over 1" if repeated thunderstorms occur. Isolated severe weather is possible, but not especially likely. High temps will be a bit cooler, mainly in the low-mid 80s to around 90. The chance that any one location sees rain is about 70%. Overnight lows will fall into the low-mid 70s.

WED: Another warm and humid day with isolated showers and storms possible under a partly sunny sky. With the humidity, comes a heat index around 100 degrees. The chance of rain for any one location is 40% and while more locations will be dry compared to Tuesday, a few could still produce heavy rain. Winds will be light from the west/southwest. Low temps will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

THUR: VERY hot with highs well into the mid-upper 90s with heat index values up to 105 degrees. A heat advisory may be required, with little chance of rain anticipated. Winds will be light from the west-southwest. Caution is advised if spending time outdoors. Overnight lows will drop into the mid-upper 70s. The chance of rain will be about 20%.

FRI: Another VERY hot and humid day with highs in the mid 90s and heat index values between 102 and 108, possibly higher. This will result in heat advisories for much of the area. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible, but many areas should be dry with only a 30% chance of rain. Lows will drop into the low-mid 70s.

SAT: Still hot and humid with highs in the low-mid 90s and heat index values around 100-105. Partly sunny skies are expected with scattered thunderstorms possible. A few storms may produce heavy rain, though its a bit more uncertain given the presence of westerly winds as a cold front passes through. Lows will drop into the 70s once again.
