comfortable weather through midweek

7/1/2024

While it is surprising to me that a large portion of St. Mary’s got by with no rain from Sunday night, a cold front did still sweep through the entire area overnight. Gusty north winds at 15-25 mph have ushered in a significant drop in humidity this morning. Temperatures today will head up to 80°.
Tuesday will be another pleasant day with sunshine and high temperatures reaching the low to mid 80s. The humidity will remain low and there will be a steady easterly breeze. Wednesday will have similar conditions with highs around 85°.
For Independence Day, it does look like we will start off with dry conditions along with temperatures in the 70s. Afternoon highs look to reach the lower to middle 90s with higher humidity. There are indications that there may be a few thunderstorms around in the evening, so this is something that I will be keeping an eye on.
