continued rain chances through wednesday

4/1/2024

We are in an active weather pattern to start off April in the area. A marine airmass is in place this Monday with temperatures in the mid 50s. A few hit or miss showers will be possible for the rest of today. There will be a slightly better chance for showers overnight.
Expect continued low clouds along with additional showers and possibly a thunderstorm at times on Tuesday. Temperatures look to stay in the 50s for much of the day, though we may hit 60°. There will be a steady east wind at 10-15 mph.
A stronger storm system will track through the area on Wednesday, likely bringing more showers and thunderstorms. A low-end severe weather threat is possible.
Once rain clears out by Wednesday night, a colder and drier airmass will overspread the region. It will feel more like mid March on Thursday with high temperatures in the mid 50s. Clouds may not completely clear out. A Canadian airmass will continue to be in place on Friday, keeping chilly conditions around.
