generally cloudy with occasional rain for the rest of the week

It's been 8 years since the Blizzard of 2016! Aside from the February 2010 blizzards, this stands as the only other snowstorm over the past 20 years in the region that met the strict definition of a blizzard.
This year, not only are we unlikely to have any more accumulating snow for the rest of January, but direct sunshine will be limited. It will not rain the entire time, but overall it will be cloudy and wet at times as several low pressure systems move through.
For Wednesday, there may be a few sprinkles early in the morning, but much of the day will be dry. Temperatures will top out in the lower 50s.
There will be a good chance for rain during the day on Thursday. With a warm front lifting through the area early in the day, it will turn out to be relatively warm with high temperatures around 60°.
Friday, temperatures will have a shot at reaching the upper 60s! The chance for rain will be lower. However, this warmth will be short-lived. A cold front will drop through Friday night, which will make for cooler temperatures on Saturday. Temperatures may be back to the 50s.
Another dose of rain appears likely later Saturday into early Sunday.
