12/7/2023

A fairly intense storm system will march through the East Coast on Sunday. For Southern MD, this storm will bring a good dose of rain and wind. The most impacts will be towards the end of the day. A few showers will be possible in the morning, but there will be an increasing threat for heavier rain by the evening. It will also become quite windy with southerly winds increasing from around 15-20 mph in the morning to 30-40 mph by the evening. Rainfall totals from this storm look to be in the 1-2” range.
Temperatures are expected to reach the 60s Sunday afternoon, with plummeting temperatures Sunday night. While the stormy weather will clear out by late Sunday night, gusty winds will linger on Monday.
