rain around midweek, then turning colder

11/18/2024

Despite the morning lows around 40°, temperatures this Monday were able to reach 70° in Southern MD. Low temperatures Monday night will be in the upper 40s to around 50°.
There will be more clouds around on Tuesday ahead of a strong system. Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 60s. A shower or two will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday, but I do think the best chance for rain will hold off until Wednesday evening. Showers Wednesday night may be accompanied by gusty winds. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid 60s.
Cooler temperatures and windy conditions will be the story for the second half of the week. A strong low pressure system will be situated to our north, which will pull in the blustery conditions. For Thursday, temperatures look to reach the low to mid 50s with some peeks of sunshine. Winds will be around 15-25 mph during the day.
Morning lows on Friday will be in the mid 30s, and afternoon highs will only be around 50°. West winds at 20-30 mph will add a chill to the air. Saturday will have similar conditions. There will be a slight chance for a passing shower both Friday and Saturday.
