rain possible early fri with some temperature changes

2/21/2024

While we have had abundant sunshine for the past couple days, there will be a good deal of clouds mixed in with the sun on Thursday. Temperatures will remain around average for this time of year, with morning lows in the lower 30s and afternoon highs around 50°. However, with a steady southerly wind 10-15 mph, it will feel slightly cooler.
A storm system will pass through the region Thursday night into Friday, bringing a chance for a few showers. I do not expect it to rain during the entire time. Temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 50s on Friday. Breezy northwest winds behind the system will allow colder air to move back in for the weekend.
Saturday, high temperatures will be in the mid 40s with a mix of sun and clouds. It will still be somewhat windy with 15-20 mph winds, which will make for wind chills in the 30s at times. Actual temperatures will drop into the 20s Saturday night. With a wind direction change to the south, temperatures will rebound back to the 40s Sunday afternoon.
Warmer temperatures will take hold for early next week.
