A cold front moving in from the west is allowing for the rain and embedded thunderstorms to impact Southern MD this Wednesday. Rain will continue tonight and into the day on Thursday as a coastal storm develops along the frontal boundary. Rainfall amounts from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday evening are generally expected to be around one inch, with one to two inches for the southern half of St. Mary's.
Lows Wednesday night will be in the mid 40s, with highs around 50° for Thursday. Northwest winds will increase to around 15-25 mph by Thursday afternoon into the evening.
Friday, we will have sunshine throughout the day. High temperatures will be around 60°, although it will feel cooler with windy northwest winds at 20-30 mph.
For Saturday, there may be more clouds around along with a low chance for a shower or two. Right now temperatures look to reach the lower 60s. Easter Sunday is currently shaping up have a mix of sun and clouds with morning lows in the mid 40s and afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
