seasonable temperatures heading into thanksgiving week

11/23/2024

Seasonably cool temperatures and windy conditions will remain in place across Southern MD this Saturday. Temperatures will head up into the mid to upper 50s with some clouds moving in by the afternoon. With northwest winds gusting to 25-30 mph, it will feel colder. Temperatures tonight will drop down to around 40°.
For Sunday, we will have a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures topping out in the upper 50s. It will still be on the breezy side, although winds will be lighter than today.
With a southerly wind flow in place, daytime temperatures on Monday will nudge upward a bit to the lower 60s. A fast-moving system may bring a couple showers Monday night. While temperatures look to remain mild on Tuesday, colder air will pour in Tuesday night.
Right now, computer models indicate that a storm system may arrive in our area on Thanksgiving Day. I will be watching this potential for rain.
