turning quite cold after thanksgiving

While temperatures were able to reach the mid to upper 60s on Tuesday in Southern MD, I do not think it will get that warm again in this area for the next two weeks. A long-duration stretch of unseasonably cold temperatures will dominate after Thanksgiving, making it feel like the middle of winter.
For this Wednesday, temperatures are on their way to reaching the mid 50s. Rain will overspread the area by late tonight as a storm system moves in.
Thanksgiving morning will be wet with rain for much of the time. Temperatures will start off around 47-50°. Rain will clear out by early afternoon, and temperatures will head up to around 56-59° in the afternoon. It will turn windy late in the day with northwest wind gusts to 30 mph by the evening.
Morning low temperatures on Friday will be in the mid 30s, with afternoon highs in the lower 50s. There will be some sunshine.
The core of an arctic airmass will then overspread the area this weekend. Saturday will start off in the upper 20s, with afternoon highs barely getting to the lower 40s. While it will be sunny, a breezy west wind will keep wind chills closer to the freezing mark. Expect similar conditions for Sunday and Monday.
