1/25/2024

The temperature reached 70° in Southern MD this Thursday! That is quite the change from the teens we had Monday morning. While much of the time from late morning through the afternoon was dry, more showers will move in later this evening. Temperatures will stay mild overnight, with lows around 60°.
Much of the rainfall activity will clear out by late morning on Friday. There may be some breaks in the clouds as temperatures head up into the lower 70s. There will be a steady southwesterly breeze around 15 mph.
Saturday will likely start off dry. However, an organized storm will move in from the Deep South later in the day, with rain arriving late afternoon into the evening. Behind a cold front that will pass through early Saturday, it will turn out much cooler with highs in the mid 50s.
Rain looks to continue on Sunday, although there may be some breaks by the afternoon. The cooling trend will continue with temperatures struggling to reach 50°. Monday will be dry and windy with high temperatures in the 40s. Clouds may linger during the day.
