Rich Foot:
Keith Krichinsky: When you have a degree in the study of weather, you are a meteorologist. I do not have that degree. I refer to myself as a "weatherologist". I developed my interest in atmospheric phenomenon as a kid growing up in Randallstown when my father tried to explain to me what "heat lightning" was (although he was not correct). I have always been a self taught student of the sciences. Fast forward about 45 years, I stumbled upon Foots Forecast searching on the web. Rich Foot saw something in me he really liked. After a brief training period, I began running the CMD page and I have been with Foots Forecast ever since. Now, I am the executive director and senior forecast advisor.
Zach Badders:
Jack Rudden: I am a college junior majoring in Meteorology. I currently am attending Carroll Community College but was recently accepted into Mississippi State and I will get a bachelors in Meteorology there. My interest in weather started after a severe weather outbreak on June 13th, 2013. A tornado touched down very close to where I was at the time. I remember the sky was a dark green color that morning which I had never seen before. I joined Foot's Forecast in the fall of 2019. I lived in Ellicott city for the first 20 years of my life before moving to Mount Airy in 2021. My favorite type of weather is definitely severe wind storms (AKA bow echos). I was introduced to foots forecast by a few of my teachers in high school as well as one of my neighbors who is a long time viewer and faithful follower, and I now am one of the lead forecasters for the CMD page.
Jason Mitchell: Meteorology is something that I have always been deeply passionate about from my early childhood. Growing up, I spent a considerable amount of time reading the weather forecasts in the newspaper and watching the weather reports on TV. I joined Foots Forecast in march of 2010 while I was a sophomore in high school. I am the lead forecaster for both the southern MD and Capital regions for FF. While being part of the general workforce now, weather continues to fascinate me each day.
Ira Wright:
Jeff Wise:
Brad Lear: I became involved with Foots Forecast back when we first started in 004. It was just Rich, Keith, and I and I was the original CFO for the team. I was a science teacher up until I retired in 2007, and have since "semi-retired" from FF. However I still am active during the winter months where I report the snow-liquid ratios at my Harford county home, and during hurricane season to assist with hurricane forecasts. My meteorology training was homemade as a science teacher, especially once I started teaching oceanography, and had to learn what I could about weather, storms, and especially hurricanes.
