record high temps Today/saturday, then monitoring a coastal system for tuesday night/wednesday10/27/2023 High temps Today and Saturday will be near record temps for this time of year, likely reaching the low 80s. We cool off a bit on sunday but still very warm, with highs in the low 70s. A cold front will slide through on Monday with much cooler temps following. By tuesday, highs will only be in the 40s to low 50s. When it comes time for trick-or-treating, temps will have fallen into the low 40s with wind chills in the upper 30s, so dress in layers. Luckily, the cold front is not overly strong, and is moisture starved. A few showers cant be ruled out at any time from Sunday-Tuesday, but they dont look to be very heavy or super widespread. By late tuesday night (after 9pm), a coastal storm looks to develop off the coast which may bring an additional round of perhaps more widespread showers (especially east of I-95) overnight. So with that said, I would say the best time to be out on Tuesday is between 4pm and 8pm. We will monitor this system for any changes, so stay tuned!
